Fire & Ice Facial

If you’ve had the Clinical Facials at Advanced Skin Care Clinic the Éminence Fire and Ice Facial is not like that. Fire and Ice is a very stimulating facial that would be perfect day of, or day before a special event. So let me take you through the treatment.

The first step of an Éminence Fire and Ice Facial is cleansing using the beautiful organic products from the Éminence skin care line.

Once the face is clean and clear of any makeup, the fun begins! As per the “fire” in Fire and Ice the first steps involve heat. There are several products that can be used for heat including Éminence Blueberry Detox Firming Peel (not pictured below) which contains Paprika which invigorates and revitalizes the skin and brings on the heat.

The Arctic Berry Enzyme Exfoliant is then added and continues to stimulate circulation. Éminence Arctic Berry Enzyme Exfoliant is a blend of four antioxidant-rich plants which breaks down and removes dead skin to leave your skin feeling refreshed and new.

By this time your face is feeling warm maybe even a little bit hot but nothing unbearable. Just when you are thinking is that it? The Arctic Berry Pro Advanced Peel Activator MA20 is added. Éminence Arctic Berry Pro Advanced Peel Activator MA20 contains very strong antioxidant and age-defying benefits which are delivered with a sensation of flash heat. If you weren’t feeling it, here is where you will but only for a few seconds.

This is where the cooling begins and again with Éminence there are several cooling products to choose from making this facial very customizable. In my case, we went with the Stone Crop Serum. Éminence Stone Crop Serum is an intense hydrator that relieves the appearance of signs of aging and yes, there is a noticeable difference after just one application. This serum is massaged into the face with a combination of a hot stone and an ice cube.

For ultimate cooling my treatments was topped off with the Éminence is the Snow Mushroom and Reishi Masque and Snow Mushroom Cloud Eye Cream. The masque and eye cream are intense hydrators which depuff and tighten the skin.

With all of the stimulation and back and forth between hot and cold your skin is left with a natural photo-finish. Here are a few before and after photos.
