What is Microblading?

If your eyebrows are thinning or even nonexistent, Microblading is the treatment for natural-looking, semi-permanent arches. Microblading is an excellent option to reconstruct missing eyebrows or to reshape existing ones.

What can I expect from my first Microblading Treatment?

Your first appointment will take approximately two hours. Our eyebrow artist will carefully measure and pre-draw on your eyebrows with a pencil until you are happy with the shape. Next, a numbing gel will be applied to the area to desensitize it, please note that the treatment is painless to some, but to others the pain level is on par with waxing or tweezing. Lastly, our eyebrow artist will use a small tool equipped with tiny blades or needles that are dipped into pigment and deposited into the top layers of skin in strokes resembling individual hairs.

Will there be any downtime after my Microblading Treatment?

There is no downtime, however there is healing time. It takes approximately two weeks for the eyebrows to heal and the colour to set. During this time you will want to limit your eyebrow exposure to water.

You may also find that immediately after your treatment your eyebrows appear darker than you may have anticipated, this will change as you heal. If you are not happy with the colour it can be adjusted at your first touchup.

How many treatments how and how often should I come for Microblading?

You will need a touchup 4-6 weeks from your initial appointment. This is included in the cost of a full treatment. Your touchup appointment will take 30-60 minutes and will be the opportunity to adjust colour and fix any small changes that may have occurred during the healing process. After your first touchup, Microblading typically lasts up to two years. Imagine two years without having to pencil your brows!
