Micro Needling is a process of creating a controlled injury below the skin’s surface. This process forces the body’s natural healing sending blood to the face creating new collagen and stimulating elastin. Micro Needling will cause the skin to thicken, plump, and tighten, naturally reducing the appearance of scars, wrinkles and fine-lines. It also opens the layers of the skin to better absorb active ingredients found in anti-aging serums boosting their effectiveness.
There are two types of Micro Needling, one is done with a Needle Roller and the other is done with Dermastamp. A Micro Needling, needle roller is excellent for use on the body to treat, cellulite and to tighten loose skin.
In all of my treatments, I use, Dermastamp which is excellent for use on the face, offering skin tightening as well as infusing active serums to reverse the signs of aging, to treat acne and promote the formation of new collagen and to stimulate elastin.

A Micro Needling appointment will run anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
A treatment will begin with a thorough cleansing of the skin followed by a test-area to determine the appropriate frequency for the Dermastamp Micro Needling system. Once the system is set-up, the appropriate serum is applied to the skin’s surface, the Dermastamp Micro Needling Pen is then guided over each area of the face delivering the serum deeper and evenly into the skin’s layers.
The length of recovery after a Micro Needling treatment varies depending on the individual. The skin will appear pink and sometimes red, feeling warm and often tight for a short time immediately after treatment. There is no downtime post-treatment mineral makeup can be worn immediately after treatment and by the following day regular makeup can be worn again.
Although for many results from Micro Needling can be seen after the very first treatment, for optimal results a series of 2-3 treatments is ideal. All Micro Needling treatments should be spaced every 4-6 weeks.
