Yudit Normandeau
Yudit Normandeau is the Owner and Lead Aesthetician at Advanced Skin Care Clinic, bringing an inspiring blend of science, artistry, and personal dedication to skincare. Originally from Santiago, Chile, Yudit's journey into aesthetics began with her academic foundation in Analytical Chemistry, which she earned before immigrating to Edmonton. Recognizing her passion for beauty and wellness, she furthered her education by studying Business Administration at Alberta College and completing her aesthetics training at the Alberta Academy of Aesthetics.
Yudit’s approach to skincare is deeply rooted in her belief that advanced technology and high-quality products are essential to achieving outstanding results. She continually seeks the latest innovations in skincare and invests in cutting-edge equipment to ensure her clients receive the best possible care. Yudit specializes in helping clients address signs of aging, pigmentation concerns, rosacea, acne, and unwanted hair. Valerie, our Senior Aesthetician, specializes in laser treatments and has been with Advanced Skin Care Clinic since 2003. A graduate of the Alberta Academy of Aesthetics, she is certified in laser technology and focuses on helping clients address aging, pigmentation, and acne concerns with precision and care.
Shaelyn Tymchyshyn
Shaelyn is an Aesthetician with expertise in laser hair removal, microneedling, and clinical facials. Her journey into aesthetics began with her personal experience overcoming acne, inspiring her to help clients achieve their own skincare goals through customized treatments and compassionate care.
Marnie Thomson
Marnie is an experienced Laser Clinician specializing in advanced skin treatments such as microneedling, skin tightening and photorejuvenation. Her 23 years of experience brings a unique tailoring to treatment plans for her clients' needs. She takes pride in delivering results-driven care with a gentle touch, ensuring clients feel comfortable and confident throughout their skincare journey.
Vira Birkovych
Vira brings a wealth of medical knowledge and advanced aesthetic expertise to Advanced Skin Care Clinic. She earned her medical degree from a top university in Ukraine and specializes in trichology, offering high-level consultations to address scalp health and hair loss. Vira provides tailored skincare solutions and hair restoration treatments, including Alma TED, a groundbreaking non-invasive therapy to stimulate hair growth. Her medical expertise and passion for aesthetics enable her to deliver effective solutions that help clients achieve their goals.
Shannon Bakken, RN, BScN
Shannon is our CAMA-certified Nurse Injector, blending her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with advanced training in Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers, Biostimulators, PRP, IV Wellness. She specializes in personalized injectable treatments that enhance natural beauty, leaving clients confident and radiant. Shannon’s expertise and warm approach make her a trusted professional for achieving subtle, transformative results.
Candice Davis
Candice, our Business Manager, brings extensive experience to Advanced Skin Care Clinic. Before pursuing her education as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Candice spent eight years in the skincare industry. Since 2013, she has worked in women’s health, focusing on gynecology, postpartum care, day surgery, and urogynecology. Her blend of industry knowledge and healthcare expertise allows her to support the clinic's operations while fostering a welcoming, professional environment for clients and staff.
Megan Baker
Megan, our Front Desk Coordinator, is a vital part of the Advanced Skin Care Clinic team. Megan’s exceptional organizational skills and warm personality create a seamless experience for both clients and staff. Outside of work, Megan is a talented country singer, sharing her love of music with the community. Her dedication to client care and passion for creating a positive atmosphere make her an invaluable part of the clinic.
